Welcome to The Gladstone
The Gladstone, a historic and welcoming pub located in Nottingham, England. Established in 1894, we are proud to be a community hub and a staple in the local area.
This friendly back street local sits in the middle of a Victorian terrace, just north of Nottingham. Memorabilia decorates the walls in the bar. The opposing lounge features old brass work, ornaments, pictures, and a large collection of books - with drinkers encouraged to browse or even book swap! Outside, the secluded garden offers a haven in summer, winning many 'Nottingham in Bloom' awards over the years.
Formerly a Nottingham Brewery and then Whitbread house, built in 1882, one famous former landlord was George Fryer, an Amateur English Heavyweight Boxing Champion. In 1894 the Gladstone Hotel was a fully licensed establishment and in 2016 was recognised as an Asset of Community Value.
Now, we uphold the same values and aim to continue this for the many years to come!
Here at The Gladstone we pride ourselves on the quality and variety of our real ale. Featuring 6 hand-pulled real ales, our selection spans from refreshing hoppy pales to classic traditional bitters. Whether you're a seasoned ale enthusiast or new to the world of real ales, our diverse line-up offers something for everyone.
Unsure on which to choose? Ask a member of our team for advice or even a taster of any ale to make sure you choose the right one for you.
We also have an impressive line-up of draught products. Immerse yourself in the crisp clean flavours of 3 premium lagers, including one of the fastest growing lagers in the UK. For those who prefer a fruity twist we have 1 draught cider, a crisp and refreshing apple cider made with 100% British apples. Lastly, on our draught selection, we proudly offer Guinness. This Irish stout is world renowned for it's velvety smoothness and rich flavour profile.
